F1 in Schools National Finalists
ZENITY
The F1 in Schools Program is the world’s largest STEAM based education competition, operating internationally in 58 countries, with tens of thousands of Australian students participating each year. Within the competition, students work to design, develop, and manufacture a miniature Formula One car, that is capable of reaching speeds of up to 80km/h. The cars are then raced against other competing teams along a 20-metre track, powered by COâ‚‚ canisters.
Students who participate in F1 in Schools are also encouraged to focus intensely on developing and making use of employability skills. Students learn more about leadership, cooperation, resilience, team building, project management, public speaking, business, marketing, collaboration, and more.

Setting A New Standard of Ingenuity and Success
Zenity is a Tasmanian Senior Professional F1 in Schools team, consisting of four year 9 students from Queechy High School. Our team will be participating in the Australian national final for F1 in Schools between the 11th and the 15th of March 2024.
